Kids can use their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop cool apps within a short period of time. The MIT App Inventor course is a great fit if your child is a little bit older and has a good understanding of algebra.

Mastering this course will allow them to create and launch their own apps. Also kids can develop a genuine enthusiasm and interest in programming. Also some lessons are offered in artificial intelligence specifically. Students will be tasked to create code scripts that instruct  the computer to learn from data on its own to be able to do what the student wants it to do. For example, the student might be tasked to create a script that makes a character smile when they say something nice to it, and frown when they say something mean. Using machine learning thus, the kid can make the machine learn to recognize both nice and mean things. Using these types of exercises, the students will build a strong, foundational understanding of artificial intelligence, which will prepare them for the advanced machine learning course, CY:302- Advanced Artificial Intelligence. They will learn to harness the power of artificial intelligence and will not be intimidated by it when they go on to other more advanced programming languages where they might have to code much more complex machine learning scripts.
